The withdrawal of Legal Aid in all family cases apart from those involving violence has had a significant impact on the poorer families in society. Coupled with this the closure of many Family Courts and the struggling attempts to consolidate family law into Centralised Divorce Courts places a great burden of stress and delay on spouses and parents already going through the most difficult time in their lives.  Resources need to be invested in the staffing and administration of the Central Divorce Courts to make them a workable and accessible solution for families.
